Koorda is one of only a few Drive-In's that is still operating in Western Australia today, and we pride ourselves on being an affordable and
fun night out for the entire family and that includes your pets too.
Please be mindful of other patrons and keep your pet on a lead at all times.
Gate and diner are open at 6:30 pm from October to February
and 6:00 pm from March to September
The first movie start time is approximately one hour after the gates open
SEPTEMBER BREAK
The Koorda Drive-In will be taking a short break during September.
September is always a busy month in Koorda, with many community events taking place and plenty of demand on our wonderful local volunteers. With only so many helping hands to go around, we have made the decision to pause our Drive-In screening for the month.
The good news is that we’ll be back on Saturday, 24 October 2026!
We are currently working on our October movie line-up and will announce the films as soon as they are confirmed.

In the meantime, travel safely, enjoy everything happening around our region, and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Koorda Drive-In in October.

The Koorda Community Drive-In was built by the Shire in October 1965. Paddy Baker was the first lessee, and he employed two local men,
Len Thompson and Jim Weymouth to run the projectors.
The Sound of Music was one of the first movies to be shown and was so popular it had to be shown for three nights in a row.
